Students receive hands-on training in a variety of blood collection procedures, including heel sticks, finger sticks, skin punctures, cultures, and fluid collection. In addition, they learn best practices in infection prevention, specimen quality assurance, and professional patient care.
To ensure real-world readiness, each student is required to complete 30 venipunctures and 10 dermal punctures under the supervision of a qualified healthcare professional.
Upon completion, graduates are well-prepared to pursue rewarding opportunities in hospitals, clinics, laboratories, and other healthcare settings.
